Create your account

Go to /signup on your DINARI dashboard and register with your name, email and phone. DINARI sends a verification code to confirm the contact details are real before asking you for anything else. You can sign in as soon as the account exists — but until the application is approved, your API keys will not work and you cannot take payments. The portal shows the application instead of the dashboard, so there is never a screen full of zeros pretending to be a business.

The application

DINARI has to know who you are before moving money on your behalf. Which questions you get depends on what kind of business you are:
For an EURL, SARL, SPA, SNC or similar. Eight steps:Documents: commercial register extract (RC), tax ID certificate (NIF), and the representative’s national ID card — front and back, or a passport if they are not Algerian. Beneficial owners’ IDs are asked for only if you say ownership is shared.
The application saves as you go. You can close it and come back; nothing is submitted until you reach the last step and sign off.

Your RIB

The settlement account step is where you tell DINARI which bank account to pay you into. It matters more than the other steps, because this is the only place your payout destination is ever set — the withdrawal screen does not let you type an account number, deliberately. If someone gets hold of your portal login, the worst they can do is send you your own money sooner than you wanted. A few things to expect:
  • We check the RIB’s checksum as you type it. A failed check is not a rejection — Algerian RIBs are often written down wrong, and telling you your own account number does not exist would usually be wrong as well. It asks for a photo of your RIB slip instead and routes the case to a person.
  • The account holder name should match the business. A mismatch does the same thing: asks for the slip, sends it to a human.
  • Changing it later does not change past payouts. Each withdrawal records where it was sent at the time it was sent.

Approval

Once you submit, DINARI reviews the application and the documents. There are three outcomes: When you are approved, DINARI also decides what your account is allowed to do. Most businesses start with card payments and the tools around them. Two things are not switched on by default and are granted on request:
  • Identity verification (KYC) — costs money per check.
  • Requesting payouts — moving money out to a third party is the one action that cannot be undone, so it is enabled deliberately rather than by default.
You will still see your balance from day one. See Getting paid for the difference.
